An original painting on gallery-wrapped stretched canvas. I created this piece using layers of acrylic paint and colored pencils to create a textural depth. The painting is titled “Let It End So Something True Can Begin” and is inspired by the image of a skull and contemplating the ideas of death and decay. Death and decay is naturally apart of the life process, and it makes room for beauty and a new life to bloom.
24” H x 30” W x 1.5” D
Signed, titled, and hanging hardware installed on the back for easy hanging.
Shipping is automatically applied at checkout. If you are local or would prefer to pick up the painting directly from my studio, I will happily refund your shipping costs.
If you would like to see the work in person, let me know by sending my an email at katelynnnknick@gmail.com to set up a studio visit.
