See my latest solo exhibition, SISTER SISTER

Take a walk through of the gallery, see the photos from the opening exhibition, and browse the collection. This body of work was created to honor the feelings of grief, death, and reflections after losing my little sister Jamie in a tragic car accident in February 2022.

During the opening, I create a community altar and invited guests to bring an offering for a passed away loved one to leave at the altar. The items will remain throughout the exhibition and will be buried in a ritual afterwards.

SISTER SISTER, solo show opening on Sept 2nd at Paseo Arts & Creativity Center

My little sister, Jamie, was instantly taken from this Earth on February 11th, 2022 at 1:41am, as a drunk driver blasted through a red light and t-boned them, directly where Jamie was sitting. This body of work shares a glimpse into the grieving process I have been going through since losing my sister. Sharing peeks into the stories and special memories I had with Jamie, sensations and visions from my meditation practice, and processing the big feelings that come after a sudden death - this body of work transmutes grief into color, emotions into movement, and vulnerably shares what it’s like to lose someone you love.

The exhibition will be on view from September 2nd - September 24th at the Paseo Arts & Creativity Center, at 3024 Paseo, Oklahoma City, OK. The opening reception will include a community altar where guests can bring an offering, trinket, or note to honor a passed away loved one.

Food Pop-Up by PreFix.

Prints and merch available in the gift shop.
