ArtNow exhibition “Materials and Boundaries” at Oklahoma Contemporary

ArtNow 2025: Materials and Boundaries will feature 26 artists, including Katelynn Knick, who is known for her immersive abstract works and expressive use of color. Knick’s practice explores the ephemeral nature of memory, sensation and emotion through color and layered forms. Drawing inspiration from the movement of light and the way color resonates in the body, she captures energy through playful linework and bold circular shapes. Her work invites viewers into a space of emotion, wonder and authenticity. Knick’s work has been featured in museums such as the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, as well as in public art projects across Oklahoma. ArtNow 2025: Materials and Boundaries opens September 18.
